Today we have been installing a twin wall insulated chimney system and Contura 810 stove.
After removing the old gas fire which was capped off by a gas safe engineer we were able to start marking out and cutting through the wall at a 45* angle for the twinwall system to go through.
Once through the wall we were in the garage and then used a 135* T section and wall base support. After that was fixed in place we were able to terminate up through the garage room and up the side of the house.
Once the install was in place and sealed we were able to test it. It looks great and once the customer has the room plastered after other works it will be a fantastic addition to the house keeping them warm for many years.
