Today we are clearing a HUGE nest in a chimney. Fortunately this house is being renovated so access to it is easy.
The nest is a jackdaw nest and they commonly nest from March through to July/August. It is an offence to remove the nest during nesting season unless you have a license to do so.
The way to stop this from happening in your chimney is to have a protective cowl fitted. We supply a number of cowls to suit most chimney pots so give us a call and we will be happy to help.
