We were tasked with removing this open fire in Bourne and the customer was adamant he wanted to replace it all.

Although it was a traditional original fireplace, it was damaged in several areas so replacing it was a wise choice. We knocked it open and added a raised concrete block hearth ready to get the fireplace to the next stage.

Once that has time to set we added the Grafton limestone surround and then tiled the hearth and internal recess.

The final stage we lined the chimney and installed a Stovax Chesterfield multifuel stove and the overall look came out really well and the customer is over the moon with the finish
