We were recently contacted by a couple wanting to revamp their fireplace with a new stove.
Unfortunately the stove they wanted didn’t quite get the clearance it needed from the oak beam directly underneath so we needed to either choose another stove or change the fireplace.
The owner wasn’t keen on the stone side cheeks of the fire place so it was decided to remove the oak beam and board and plaster the Jambs.
Once this was done we were able to install the Contura 310 stove and we think the end result looks fantastic.
